Hi there! I’m Uschi.
I’m a creative soul at home in nature, and I love nothing more than supporting others to feel free and confident in their bodies and lives.
Through movement, massage and somatic therapy I support people to reconnect with themselves, feel at home in their bodies and unearth greater balance, ease and resilience.
Body and mind are part of the one system. When we reconnect with the body, we reconnect with ourselves. No matter how you’re feeling right now. Your body is.a gateway to your truth, your needs, your creativity, strength, compassion and courage.
My work is about reconnecting you with the unique wisdom, truth and aliveness that pulses through your cells.

Somatic therapy acknowledges that our emotions and any stress are experienced not just in the mind, but also in the body. Hence it is a body-centred approach that incorporates movement, mindfulness, grounding practices and also conversation.
I practice a form of somatic therapy known as Somatic Stress Release. Somatic stress release helps you reconnect with your body as a source of insight, regulation and resilience. Through awareness practices, movement and guided exploration, it helps you to notice and shift patterns of tension held in the body and/or mind. Over time, somatic stress release builds your capacity to meet life’s challenges with greater presence and ease.
Rather than only talking about your experience, it is a body-based and experiential approach that can be a wonderful complement or alternative to traditional talk therapy.

Somatic stress release (the form of somatic thereapy that I practice) is of benefit to anyone.
You don’t need to be struggling. It’s a powerful means to stay attuned to your needs, resilient and clear in your direction.However it’s also beneficial if you’re experiencing stress, anxiety, chronic pain, insomnia, or are feeling stuck or disconnected from your body or emotions.

Yes. Somatic therapy sessions are offered online - or in-person (in Mansfield).
Somatic stress release sessions can be amazingly powerful in an online format. For some people, being in their own private space can even make the sessions more comfortable – and/or more accessible due to time constraints.

I offer two broad types of massage – but each session is a unique experience tailored to you.
Therapeutic Thai Massage is a blend of traditional floor-based thai massage, with elements of Zen Thai Shiatsu. The modality is brilliant for muscular and fascial release, increases mobility, and is deeply grounding and calming for the nervous system.
KaHuna Massage is a traditional form of Polynesian massage. It is a flowing, oil-based massage that is deeply nurturing, whilst also meeting tension with depth and presence.
I bring my training in clinical pilates, yoga and somatic stress release to every session. Ensuring you’re met with complete presence and a treatment that is unique to your body and your system.

Private yoga sessions (both one-on-one and group) are available on request in and around Mansfield. Contact me to discuss times and availability. I specialise in weekend and retreat experiences.
Weekly slow-flow yoga classes run Tuesdays 5:30pm-6:30pm at Yoga in Mansfield. The classes are a flowing blend of vinyasa, mat pilates, mindfulness and breathwork.
